Aspiring data scientist with a human centered approach
The Full Story

What you wont find on my resume or projects - I will tell you here :)

I moved from Atlanta, GA to Seattle, WA and have developed an immense love for hikes and the outdoors because of WA's amazing terrain. Additionally, I enjoy trying out coffee shops and restaurants around Seattle, photography when I have time (check out my photography portfolio project), reading, and movie watching. I am a very social person (COVID has made this hard) and love making connections with the people around me.

Beyond that, I am an aspiring data science in my senior year at the University of Washington studying Human Centered Design and Engineering with a focus on Data Science. My career goal is to be a data scientist where I can apply data science methods to create valuable insights for any company. My undergraduate major has given me a unique technical perspective where I put the user at the forefront of my development process which is highly useful when searching for meaning in data.

This school year I will finish my intensive courses in data science. I have already learned skills in data modeling including relational database management systems, database modeling, entity-relationship modeling, and the implementation of database applications. I have taken the introductory course in methods of data science, developing skills in practical applications and analysis of real-world data through a techniques in supervised and unsupervised machine learning, methods for experimental design and causal inference, functional, procedural, and statistical programming techniques for working with data. This year, I will take the advanced methods of data science course, the introductory AI course, and an advanced ML course.
